yea i talked to mike last nite. it sucked last nite anyway, so u guys didnt miss much. it was raining slightly, so the turnout sucked....hopefully next week we wont have that problem. its been a good turnout the past few weeks

this past week had a good turnout at bald hill... i got there around 630ish, and by the time i got to the last row of cars, it was dark and people were starting to leave. lots of sick cars. and lots of people i know from out east. i was surprised at the turnout

sept. 9th there's a car show in hauppauge. "cruise for a cure" 49 wireless blvd. hauppauge 9-4 i think it's only $20 for entry fee. |

well we're leavin the shop at 8, meetin up with two other trucks on the Northern State at like 8:15. we should be at the show between 8:30 and 9. gimmie a call in the morning when your on you way!!!!!

yea man definitely. it was good seeing everybody and just hanging out. i stayed for like another 20 minutes. That guy who had the purple dump truck with the M&M thing in the back won best truck.

we had our crew there. pretty good show, could have done without all the ricers blastin they're radios though.
didn't think it was gonna get so packed either. they needed a much bigger parking lot. i think they had to turn people away. i'll be back if they have it again next year. johnny you comin to the BBQ Sat.????? |

i lucked out when i was walkin down the path some guy gave me a ticket for free so i got in for free. i regret not puttin my truck in the show though considering it was only 40 bucks |

Fellas i got a problem, I have a FB setup with one switch for the front, one for the back and a on/off compressor switch. All of which only work while the ignition is keyed on. Everythign was fine yesterday, i aired out at my girlfriends school, picked up fine...normal fill times and everything. Later in the day I parked and wanted to airout and nothing worked! no fill or dump.....but, the compressor still filled and turned off at 160psi. The front started to "sag" and dropped a considerable 2-3inches...the back was riding higher than the front. I drove with the comp on and the front rose to normal height. I checked all the connections the leader hose on one of my comps was loose, so i tightened it....parked today, truck sat lifted for about 7 hours and now the back is completly laid out. Why arent any of the switches working? bad wiring? bad ground? I have an inline "30" fuse under the hood, replaced that...nothing still. any possible troubleshooting?

most likely a wiring issue. check the grounds, and then check the connections on the valves themselves. for the leak, check the fittings with soapy water to see if u can find out where its coming from

checked the fittings, leak was at the leader hose on one of the comps. as far as checking the grounds, do I check the actual connections to the switches? Also there is a in-line fuse that I checked with the volt meter. one of the fuse sockets is getting voltage and the other is not. plus around the socket is fried. should I try swapping out the in-line fuse holder for another? 2 of the valves are under the hood and 2 are on the back end. also the comps are grounded to the bed, isn't the frame a better choice? Its draggin frame right now after I got back from trailer city in hempstead. seriously I'm willing to drive out to the island to get a full tutorial and some help on this. anyone avaliable tomorrow? I'm out in Jamaica, Queens.

i would love to help buddy but it's crazy last notice and i wouldn't be able to find someone to watch my daughter. but what i'd do is change that fried inline fuse first, and check ALL the grounds!!!! make sure they're touching clean RUST FREE metal and make sure they're not loose!!! you can have it grounded to the body, but make sure you have a good ground going from the body to the frame. i'm gonna guess that since your comp still works, your grounds might not be the problem but check them anyways. it'll probably be that fuse that's fried. i wish i could help ya out more but my hands are tied tomorrow.
if ya get it fixed you rollin out to the show sunday??? |
