v6 ext cab pipe routing question

I have a 98 s10 with the 4.3L v6. Its an extended cab and i cut the exhaust off right after the hanger which was in front of the stock muffler. I have a flowmaster muffler with a 3" inlet and dual 2.5"ers out of it. I want to run pipe after the muffler, but am running into the right rear brake hose. the stock pipe rested against this and burnt it with the 5-6" of rear drop it has. Has anyone else ran into this problem, any alternatives, ways to relocate/alter the hose? Just thought i'd throw this up on here see what anyones thoughts were.
