True Duals vs Dual in Dual out
Have a 92 s10, its got a 6.0l in it. It will have 2.5 inch piping down to cats for each side, then into the mufflers. Question is, would true dual mufflers be better than a dual in dual out muffler?
Cause i thought having the exhaust come together at some point would equal out the pressure in the exhaust system....what are your guy's thoughts? |

Re: True Duals vs Dual in Dual out
A single dual in muffler is better if thats the only point your pipes are gonna meet. But the ideal setup is to have 2 separate mufflers with an x-pipe before them. Thats what I did, I have true duals, 2 flow delta 40's and an x-pipe on my 5.3 and it sounds amazing.

Re: True Duals vs Dual in Dual out
imo i'd just get one of the magnaflow stainless mufflers that have the X inside. magnaflow is really high quality and the x pipe is right inside.
