Re: Ravin Z-33 Muffler.. Whos got one?
I can't comment on the Z-33, but I am running the Z-55 3" inlet/dual outlets and love it. You can get them at Midas. A word of advise though, don't go with a turn down. I originally had turn downs on mine and let me tell you that that Bi%ch was so loud it gave me a headache after 30 minutes of interstate driving. It also vibrated the truck so bad that you couldn't see out of the rear view mirror. Because of these two things, I drove straight to the muffler shop to have dual pipes run.

Re: Ravin Z-33 Muffler.. Whos got one?
It is still fairly loud both inside and out, but not like it was with the turndowns. It is alot louder than the Flowmaster 40 with duals that I used to have.

Re: Ravin Z-33 Muffler.. Whos got one?
ya i got the ravin z-55 2.25 duel and i love it, good deep mellow sound, i had flowmasters on before and i am much happier with the ravin ,both sound and performance, i notice more low end torque now,not that many with ravins that was one reason why i decided on it im really into stuff that most people dont have, and i am happy i did, although more people arfe goin to be getting into ravins im sure, keep us posted what you do,later

Re: Ravin Z-33 Muffler.. Whos got one?
well i got it on a few days ago... now im working on finding something to get a good sound clip of it, so maybe i can get em to put in on theyre site or somethin too instead of that blazer....
it sounds much louder up to 2200 then it levels off into a deep rumble xtremely happy with it.. and i can already see a better increase in my gas mileage... my flow 40 delta KILLED MINE gimmie a week and i'll go through this tank and see how many miles i get on it thanks again for all your help guys |

Re: Ravin Z-33 Muffler.. Whos got one?
yeah, not quite as loud as everyone makes them out to be. but it sounds awsome. I have single in dual out turndown. Set off alarms with it though, but i think its just the tone.

I'm thinking of going to Midas here when I get some extra money and getting a z-55 and turn down with stock piping. Anyone know how much that might run me? Or have any suggestions. . .thx.

Re: Ravin Z-33 Muffler.. Whos got one?
I'm sure you'd be happy with it... it may sound a bit higher then mine does since its a 4.3. i think as long as you dont run duals you should be fine and happy with it... maybe you should go with the z-55 that might give a little deeper sound to it...
