pre cat?

I have a 2000 4.3L with a 2 1/4 y pipe, free flow cats, 2.5" cut out and a cherry bomb extreme muffler, dumped at the bed. my truck is allready loud, but ive seen some people with the pre cat taken off, and i was wondering if i could get some feed back to see if it is any louder..... thanks

Re: pre cat?

Just take it off. It is only a point of resistance in the exhaust line, so with it off the exhaust will flow a lot better. Therefore, it will prolly be louder
