Re: No BS Exhaust Sound Clips Forum
jimmy2blazer-
nothing special. just ran a straight pipe from the cat back. http://media.putfile.com/blazer-008 http://media.putfile.com/blazer-009 (4.3L no muffler Blazer) thought they might help someone. i know i was constantly looking for video or sound Zeldalord- http://videos.streetfire.net/player....5-11D4B2BD6B42 Edelbrock shorty headers with 2" collectors and then run without the cat and the 50 series Flowmaster was placed with the inlet just past the start of the bed ( right behind the cab) the single outlet was y'ed into duel 2" pipe and the run to 10 inches of the bumper, and then 3 x 10 echo tips were welded at a 45* angle. and the setup with vortec heads http://videos.streetfire.net/player....9-4B21EC31E749 (inside the cab) (94, 4.3L TBI) Kraker_Jax- Well here's my '94 4.3CPI. The first vid was stock y-pipe to cat to air. In the second video the cat is removed =] So it's simply y-pipe to air. I didn't want to rev that high as neighbors next door are elderly. I'll see if I can't get a vid/sound clip of me doing a drive by. I love the way it sounds... Like 4 angry civics.... In a good way!!!! Thinking I may just go buy a turndown pipe from autozone. That way the floor doesn't get so hott..... I ended up melting some ziplocs to the floor because I forgot about them lol('94 S10 Blazer 4DR 4x4 CPI) http://photobucket.com/albums/y14/Kr...t=PICT0002.flv http://photobucket.com/albums/y14/Kr...t=PICT0034.flv Dubbleclutch- http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=66633 9194&n=2 Stock 2.2l (2001)with a dynomax superturbo muffler with stock piping. I got it installed last december, quiet at first but i think its broken in now. Not quite loud enough for my taste. When i get back to the states in july im thinking maybe a turndown. who knows djbass_mekanik- Stock Exhaust Except Spintech Muffler W/ Tip. http://media.putfile.com/Spinech-1 http://media.putfile.com/Spintech-2 (2000 2 Dr 4.3 Spintech (Sportsman) Muffler AEM Intake) RadRacer- Sitting in my driveway Didn't rev it alot (almost not at all) since my neighbors were home (even though it's not loud). Here's it being driven down the road. You can hear the difference of the flipped lid in the upper RPMs. Like I said, idling the flipped lid makes almost no difference. But, in the upper RPMs you can feel abit more power and it definitely sounds alot better (89 Blazer) chargedxtreme- 4.3 with vortech charger, headers high flow cat and flowmaster 40 series, http://www.gofish.com/userVideoPlayer.gfp?gfid=30-1031846 (windy) rob8284- If anyone is interested, here is a link (http://www.savefile.com/files.php?fid=9468531) of my exhaust on my 2000 4.3L Jimmy: -Stock manifolds and Y-pipe -2.50" Maganaflow "high-flow" -Flowmaster 40 Series 2.50" single in/2.25" dual out -Custom bent dual tail pipes without tips projectblaze- (2000 blazer) Here's my 4.3L, 40 series flowmaster dumped http://videos.streetfire.net/video/9...964BBB567B.htm badaSS98- Heres a clip of my 98 SS.. 3 inch XR-1 racing, no cat, edelbrock headers and 270 cam.. It has no drone at any speed, sounds nice a strong at idle, and only gets mean when I go WOT.. Enjoy http://www.dragtruk.com/PICS/GA96226MP6N31.mpg Jay MINTSICK- Here's a new one of my s10 with the rebuilt 4.3, this is a temporary exhaust setup it's just the stock y pipe, no cat, and a cherry bomb turbo II stuck on the end with about 10" of pipe after it.... http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...05184218218449 juddspaintballs- dynomax superturbo catback system (2.5") from summitracing.com stock pipe bends and placement (just 2.5" and not 2.25" pipe). stock cat. installed for about 1.5 years now on a 4.3 with an AEM cone filter intake. soundclip taken by the mic on an iBook, revs up to 4000rpm. http://people.cedarville.edu/Student...superturbo.mp3 (96 Jimmy 4 dr 4wd automatic) |

Re: No BS Exhaust Sound Clips Forum
not to be a pain in the arse here, but all those links that have the "..." in them don't work. you gotta go to all of the links from the original posts and copy the URL then post that otherwise you won't be able to go to the page from this post
