I thought nows a goo time to see about putting a muffler on it or just runnin straight pipe from the catylic converter. what should i do? Muffler? or straight pipe? and if muffler what kind ( nothing to pricey, but nothing sheap either, whatever makes a good sound at a good price)

Re: muffler or no muffler

Definitely "a muffler". I say throw a Spintech on that puppy, but that's just my 2 cents. Almost anything will sound better than a straight pipe, though.

Take a look-see through the sound clip sticky. You'll find several vids of Spintechs (including mine) as well as Mintsick, Lifted97s10, and Tiresmokinv8, to name a few off the top of my head.

Re: muffler or no muffler

stright-pipe sounds good at idle, but as soon as you get in it it sounds like crap. I say definetly get a muffler. As for which one? I personally love how the flowmaster super sounds on it with the cat deleted. That or a spintech.

i like it, dumping it after the cat is too much but running pipe out the back sounds good.
