if i were to put a set of headers on my 4.3, would i be able to use my stock crossover pipe? if not what is my best solution? and possible to easily route true dual and possibly do an x pipe???

What years your truck? Is it a P-up or a SUV? Hooker and Hedman make long tubes for 1st gens. Those wont bolt up to the factory "Y"pipe.
They're a few company that make shorty headers for the 2gens. JBA, Gibson, Doug Thorley, OBX and Edelbrock. All but the Edelbrocks bolt up to the factory "Y". The Edelbrocks come with its own "Y" pipe. There are no long tubes made for 2nd gens. A few guy have installed the 1gen LT on the 2nd gens. It a real PITA though. There's lots of info around here if you want to know more. Just search and it should pop up
