Exhaust Qustions and concerns need help

I have a 2001 s10 2.2 and i am vary interested into geting a exhaust system even headers. But i was wondering since it has a 2.2 i dont want it to sound like a honda civic of a small car i just want a quite exhaust but still have the performance side.

i suggest you get an obx header and downpipe set.

factory manifold is very small and restrictive, and the down pipe is only 1 3/4" pipe, which is also very restrictive. an obx header and 2.5" down pipe set would really open it some.
