Downshift Poppin
i heard that its from something havin to do with the backpressure, but the exhaust always pops and crackles when i downshift, and i was wonderin if theres anything to do to fix it. thanks. 98 4.3, stock exhuast except dynomax ultraflo and dynomax tailpipe. 2.5 in/out

you don't like the crackle? I think it's kinda cool.
Nothing you can really do about it except don't let the revs drop as fast or put a quiter muffler back on. |

yeah you can't do anything about the popping with an aftermarket high-flow exhaust....at least not that i have ever heard of.
