Re: different kind of exhaust

seriously...... you see a picture of my truck he should have spent it on the body. but back the exhaust he had custom piping put in I thinks it is stainless steel you know the shiny one. and completly negated the catalytic converter but still has the second o2 sensor that works.

Re: different kind of exhaust

i notice you have no cat, and that exhaust ends pretty early. must drone like a sonofabitch.

get a real muffler on there and a tail pipe, and she'll be a lot more tolerable.

do you have an ses light without the cat?

Re: different kind of exhaust

Greddy is actually a high quality exaust that sounds good on imports. It doesnt have the high ricey sound. Now i dont think it was a good idea to put it on a truck,I wouldent put it on my blazer, but i have a DSM that i need an exaust for that i would consider putting the greddy exaust on. (and no its not riced out, except for the loud ass fart can that was on it when i bought it.) Maybe try going to a salvage yard and find a Flowmaster or something of that sort to replace it with for now.

Re: different kind of exhaust

it just depends on the car really, put it on a honda=high pitched and raspy... put the same muffler on a dsm=fairly deep, and no growl... it mainly depends on the motor, and whether its n/a or turbo... turbo is always gonna be deeper, and smoother...

Because you have a 2.8l engine and he has a 2.2.

You know when ever you're driving down the street and you hear some shitbox car come rolling passed you with some shitty sounding muffler? That's what you're turning your truck into.

It sounds like shit. It really does. Some people like ICP, so I understand people like the sound of shit.

You probably like ICP.

Re: different kind of exhaust

And so what if I do? Again you prob like eminem and I think he sounds like shit. But that's my two cents. I'm not going to be an ass about it. If some one wants to make there 2.2 or 2.8 breath better that's there choice. Don't be a dick and post asshole coments. Keep them to your self

Re: different kind of exhaust

LOLOLOL

Eminem? For serious?

I don't care if you want to make it breath a bit better, it still sounds like shit.

I guess this is just the way I am.

If I hear a truck(say an s10 with a 2.2) go driving by my truck. No matter if it has a nice paint job or wheels, but it has a muffler that makes it sounds ass...then I'm going to make fun of it.

The performance out of it isn't worth it. It's laughable. And ICP sucks.

I can't help being a dick. My dad was a dick, his dad was a dick, his dad's dad was a dick. It's part of my family.

Or else?

About the exhaust...the kid you bought it from is retarded. It doesn't sound as bad as a Honda, IMO, but I don't think it sounds good at all. Not surprising being Kingsland, I lived there as a kid...there are some strange, redneck folk down there.
