sounds great the truck actually seems to pull a bit "free-er" now the old cat was all rattley inside and i think it may have been clogged a bit

heres a few chitty cell phone pix... forgot to charge my camera











also did a home made cold air intake
will get a pic of that in a lil bit

Isn't that a crush bender? I just did mine but ran it out of the side in front of the wheel instead. : )

aaaaaaaaah you guys are correct
i always thought crush benders left the ripples in the pipe like the generic pieces you get at autozone and such

wow that dose sound real good. i had bought a borla turbo no cat just 2.5 pipe. and is really quite u think that a high flow cat will make any dif. i have the 4.3L too.

That said, no worries- Unless you're pushing +300hp and more, Mandrel bends really don't make a difference in performance or sound. The difference between cross sectional area of a crush bend, vrs a mandrel bend, isnt as large as a crimp bend vrs a mandrel.

So either way- you still got a pretty good system.
