i've heard of puttin a sparkplug non-fouler on the oxygen sensor behind the cat and it keeping it from throwing codes, idk if it works i've just heard a few ppl doing it.

Re: bolt on straight pipe in place of catalytic converter?

My cat is gutted on my 01 2.2 and it throws a cat fault every day. I can clear it and it comes right back on. I am going to try the non-fouler trick. I live in ALABAMA and we have no emission laws.

Re: bolt on straight pipe in place of catalytic converter?

There is a post about this same subject like every couple of days. How do I get my (2.2, 2.5, 2.8,4.3, etc) to sound (like a V8, deeper, like it has a pair, etc)? Does search not work for anyone else.
As far as for this post either shell out the money for a new cat or live with a check engine light.
