Re: Best type of Headers?

headers wont change the sound to much. they only offer shorties for the 2nd gen guys (94 and up). you can fit long tubes on em, but it takes some owrk and a new custom y-pipe.

search. im fond of my edelbrocks.

long tube headers will. the long thin tubbing lets out exhaust noise. sounds pretty darn good on a modded engine.

Damn...I'm still in FLA...maybe later in the summer though, for sure. You can always stop by the house and upload if you need to, or one of these nights I'll bring the camera up to Tinley, get some vids, and post 'em up for ya.

Re: Best type of Headers?

It is fun to see, not only just the truck, but the look on the faces of the other people parked near him at the show when he fires it up. They all do that same "flop-your-head-to-the-side-like-a-dog-that-just-heard-a-loud-whistle" move, and then wander over and say, "Wow! That thing has a 6 in it?!?!"
