Flowmaster 40 with a high flow cat. Keep getting questions of what size v8 is in there.

Re: 40 series?

Black truck sounds nice but I'd still prefer a Spintech or Magnaflow.

Re: 40 series?

Spintech or Magnaflow muflers sound like crap i hate their sound. there aint nothing close to that flowmaster sound echoing inside your exhaust, dam i love that sound. and just so you guys know i have a 4.3L no cat with original 40 series flowmasters and they sound great. i like when i shift through gears slow and it kinda makes a poping sound.

i'm gonna try to make a video soon so i can prove it.
the video will be uncut shopwing you the 4.3 5 speed no cat under the car with only a 40 series flowmaster under there using all the stock pipes.

Re: 40 series?

Had a Flow 40...Never once got asked if i had a V-8...Just what kind of muffler i had...
BTW Flowmaster FTMFL! try Flowstopper

Now, I do get asked what V-8 swap i have, But thats only after the cam swap, motor build, and 2.5" ypipe and 3" Hooker Maxflow.... That Is unless they hear it anywhere above 2000 RPM when the cam clears up, and it sounds like a shitty V6 with a 3" exhaust again....

LSX swap, while providing MUCH MUCH more potential power, will inherently nickle and dime you to death. The blower 4.3, you know exactly what you're getting and for how much, just depends on how far you want to go sir

Re: 40 series?

Very true bro...

I could just do the s/c this winter and if I decide later on while the motor is just sitting on the stand to do a swap I can do it...or I can build up a baddd ass motor and sell it to the highest bidder...or I can sell the s/c always as well.

Potential potential!
