2.8 exhaust
I heard from a friend that putting an bigger exhaust system on a 2.8(like a 2.5" pipe) will give you noticeable power because these motors were "constricted", he also said if i do a cold air kit and a bigger exhaust it will run alot better... is this true?

Re: 2.8 exhaust
x2 The exhaust aint the bad part of a 2.8, the iron heads flow like shit. |

Re: 2.8 exhaust
x2 Exhaust helped a little but nothing major. Heads suck on these little motors

Re: 2.8 exhaust
It helps but not a major change. Its more in the design that the 2.8 got screwed. If your really wanting power gains from a 2.8 look at either a GM crate 3.4 or 93-95 f-body 3.4.

Re: 2.8 exhaust
almost any exhaust difference over stock is an improvement but it's not going to make like super fast all the sudden
