Last year was the first year.... and they had easily 150+ vehicles from around the region....

but yeah it's about 2-3 hours away... not bad... I know they have the host hotel info already... but that's it...

For those that do not know, Unleashed 08 is officially set for May 17-18th 2008. The location is 99% confirmed the same as last year (North Laurel High School), I am just waiting for final confirmation since all of the staff I dealt with last year are now gone.

The flyers are almost finished and anyone who wants some will need to either email me at unleashedky@gmail.com or post here on myspace.

The host hotel is going to be Super 8. You can call them at 606-878-9800 and be sure to tell them you are with the show. Rates are $49.95 plus tax. Directions are here.

Camping is also available at Levi Jackson State Park. Their phone number: 606-330-2130. Rates start at $18 per night.

HUGE thanks goes out to Bacon this year. He has really busted his ass to make this thing happen, and without him....it wouldn't. If you really enjoy the show, thank him.

First off, thanks to all that are interested in attending Unleashed 08, I hope to make it as enjoyable of an experience as last year.

Let me introduce myself, my name is Chris and I am the organizer for the show. Last year we had rides from VA, TN, OH, MO, and KY. I'd love to see that kind of variety and more this year.

Here's a link to the exact location of the show, all you need to do is put in your starting address, I'll also include a few distances to give you an idea of travel times:

Louisville, KY => 2 hours
Norton, VA => 2-2.5
Knoxville, TN => 1.5 hours
St Louis, MO => 6 hours (Rhino is THE MAN)

The show grounds are within seeing distance of I-75, exit 42. The host hotel (Super 8) is within walking distance, as is a steakhouse and BAR.

Their will be a tattoo artist on-site, and a drag-at-your-own-risk drag session Saturday evening (we had a BLAST with this last year, but it will be AT YOUR OWN RISK). Rhino will be taking pictures, as well as some other online and print mags.

Also, I will gladly ship you some flyers if anyone is interested, just email me your address to unleashedky@gmail.com.

100% going. About 6 trucks with me rolling in early Friday morning. My favorite show from last year. Such a laid back atmosphere, while at the same time having a respectable show feel. No drama, just a truly fun show. (Look for a white S10 with green scallops and hit me up, always wanting to meet new board members).

Had a blast this year. We had entries from IN, KY, VA, TN, & NC; including members of Relaxed Atmosphere, Severed Ties, and several regional clubs.

I'll post info for next year as soon as we start getting things squared away.
