A few more days......
Calling all girls.....Do not forget to visit the registration booth to sign up for the bikini contest on Sunday. Drag session will be located much closer to the showgrounds this year. It will still be of the chain.....just like last year.... Hotels are just about full....Just got off the phone with the Rodeway Inn (Former Days Inn) of the total 248 rooms that they have. There are only 36 rooms left. If you have not made a reservation do so now!!!!!!!!!!!! |

okay, heres the deal. THE SHOW WILL GO ON, RAIN OR SHINE. if we get rained on we get rained on, wont be the first time. bring a canopy and if we have to we can go inside one of the buildings to keep dry if it gets too bad. drop jaw called today and said they werent gonna make it because of the weather issue. then he called me back an hour or so ago and said they were. he said we worked too hard promoting this show for them not to make it. if they changed their minds like that, within a couple of hours, to me, thats a sign. a sign that we need to move forward with everything as planned. the maryland guys are on the road now headed this way, 16 hours straight through to be here with us. even if we have to push the times back on sat. or sun. we will, but either way SUMMER SHOWDOWN WILL BE HAPPENING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i know my driver either tomorrow afternoon/evening or first thing saturday morning won't be fun. a 60' motorhome with truck and trailer total length in strong winds is not fun. plus another truck/trailer and golf cart that is alot of weight to be towing thru winds. i really gotta see how the winds are friday and saturday out there .

im so pissed i was not able to go. Stupid rain from that tropical storm kept me from coming home friday, so i was gonna drive up today for the last day and last night some asshat backed into my truck at my appt and just drove off and demolished my whole front end....

Yeah thanks for everyone that showed up in the rain... Sunday ended up being a pretty nice day... and club games were a hoot... stickin up to 14 people into a saturn.. those guys were stuffed in there good

had a blast at the show, even sitting in the rain on saturday, the only thing ruined it for me was the asshat with the stock lancer evolution bitching about not taking first place, man its just a freaking trophy damn, but he just couldn't get over my wife's hooked up ralliart beating his stock evo. oh well great show, next year my truck will be there oh yeah!

well this was my first show that i've been to that freaks put on and i commend u guys very well organized even from all the crazy ass rain. i will definately be back again next year. i hope u guys keep the show at the same fairgrounds with me parking the rv there it worked out perfect. ended up having 1 problem with the rv which was fixed with 2 boards and a floor jack but all in all had a blast and A+ to freaks

Yeah thanks everyone.. we do our best year after year to bring you a show that youll really enjoy.. the rain did put a little damper on the show but we made the best of it.. we are glad to hear all the great feed back we are getting this year so keep a look out for next years dates
