Hey guys, we recently had a tragedy in our town involving a fellow minitrucker. He was on his bike at night, going into a hard curve, and there was a 2000lb Texas longhorn in his lane. Needless to say he was killed instantly. This has brought all of the surrounding minitruckers together in my area. The guys decided to throw a dragsession the next night after the death in honor of him. I didn't know him personally, but his friends called me up to see if I would be interested in joining them in the dragsession. I didn't hesitate to go and offer support to all of his friends and family. Every since that night, about a month ago now, I feel like there is something we can do in situations like this one. So I have started the Foundation for Fallen MiniTruckers. This will be a foundation to help emotionally and spiritually to our families who have lost a fellow minitrucker. This will be a place for you guys to lean on in times of tragedy. Most of you guys don't know me yet, but I have recently started a carshow apparel co. called WhyWear? www.why-wear.com Robbie over at Keg-Media is my artist/designer. I am in the process of designing a couple of memorial shirts for the guys in our scene who have passed. I would like to explain quickly that when I say minitruckers, I say it as a general term for everyone in our scene. I can't think of a better word that everybody calls us. Every dollar made off of the memorial shirts will go directly into a seperate account for possibly throwing benefit shows or helping out with memorial builds. Our first design will debut at Turkey Drag, but our second design needs ya'lls help. I want to do a memorial shirt with every fallen MT's name on it....so shoot me an email with your fallen friend's name (first and last). There will be a place on our website soon for you guys to honor your friends by posting some info and pics of guys and gals in our scene who have passed. Please understand that this is for everyone in our scene, minis, lowriders, fullsizes, 4x4s, cars, everybody in our scene. Thanks for any support. Sorry for the lenghthy writeup, but thanks for reading.

God Bless,
-Shay

Re: F M T

yes you have the first one but shay's new attempt at this is not to ask for money but to simply make a new approach to help through his clothing line, now he will be putting out shirts and stickers for the foundation instead of askin any one for just money. too many people were thinking it was a scam and well thats understood but this way it is something the person giving will also receive something. this is a great foundation and i dont think its thought of enough until something this tragic happens close enough to your home and it will help mothers or wives or kids or vice versa.
