Zoop Seal?
Anybody ever used this stuff? Zoop Seal I was just flippin' through my Stylin Concepts catalog and I saw this stuff. If it really works and lasts 2 to 3 years like it says I would say it would be worth it. Just curious if anybody has heard anything about it or used it.

Re: Zoop Seal?
Yeah I think once I get some extra cash and some time I am gonna buy some do a full blown polish on my wheels to get all the nics out and then put the seal on. All the dirt out here and the sun makes it a pain to keep up with the oxidation that builds up on my wheels.

Re: Zoop Seal?
I was all set to buy it but all of a sudden it dawned on me that the protective finish would probably be removed in the process of removing the bits of tar that always seem to accumulate...

Re: Zoop Seal?
I read about it on their website. It says the seal comes off with aluminum polish. So I would guess that as long as you didn't use polish on it or any type of cleaner (which your not suppose to use on aluminum) that the seal should stay on. It said that the seal is a cermaic based one. I wish I knew somebody out here that had some aluminum wheels they wanted to try it on so that we could split the cost. It says it covers 60 sq ft. which should be enough to cover 2 sets of wheels.

Re: Zoop Seal?
I used Zoop Seal on my rims and they stay pretty shiny unless they get wet and dirty. So you will still have to clean your wheels, no getting around that. I've never had a set of aluminum wheels without Zoops on them so I can't really compare, but I've had my rims for two years now and there's no sign of them going that milky silverish color that most alloy wheels seem to get with age.
If your going to clean/polish your wheels I highly recommend using a product called SPEEDY. do a search for it on the web. |
