Re: windows stain question

actually try denatured alchohol first - i use it at work all the time for tree sap, tar, road paint, etc. and its paint safe -sulfuric acid could screw some stuff up seriously-

Re: windows stain question

Spray brake cleaner on a papertowel, and rub the spots. Worked for me.

Re: windows stain question

have you tried the house hold cleaner "bon ami"??? I use that stuff religiously on my older cars. I haven't found something that cleans and removes all dirt/chemicals as well as this.

BMW even put this in a service bulletin for cleaning windshields that have been pitted over the years.

I recommend doing this prior to washing your to get all the bon ami off once you are done.

Re: windows stain question

00 or finer steel wool, use with a sopy water solution in a spry bottle. Trust me it will work. If not, it's etched in the glass.
