Window tint messed UP!!!
I got my windows tinted 5% about 2 or 3 weeks ago. well I waited the week b4 I rolled them down and didnt have a problem till today, i got a corner of it peeling, its right where the door panel starts on the door. I had it professionally doone and they wont fix cuz its illegal tint and said its over a week old. anyway i can fix it on my own? its a 2002 silverado..thnaks

Some places wont guarantee if its illegal.Cash only/no receipt and they dont know you.Releases them from any liability.

If you have it redone, take the door panels off. That way they can lay the film well below the weather strip thats along the bottom of the window. This will prevent it from peeling where the tint is cut off while rolling up and down the windows.

sounds like a bad job to me, i know cuz i do tint. they should have taken the door panels off to lay the film. also, is there a light gap around the outside edge or did they microedge it?

Explain micro edge...cause I have a light gap near the front corner of the window right where the doorpanel corner meets up at. How do you remove tint and redo it?

Throw a brick threw the window. I had a shop do my gf windows. No receipt no warranty except my foot in their arse. I came to pick it up and had bubbles in mine. I made them make it perfect before I left b/c I knew I would be screwed if I left. Anyhow can either do three things A.) Brick in window B.) Report to police so they get a huge fine or C.) live and learn. All have their pros and cons LOL!
