Wicked Products Metal Polish.

I made the dumbass mistake of using Eagle wheel and
tire cleaner on my ride. I run AR TTII's. Like the dumbass
I am, I didn't allow the wheel to cool ALL the way down.
I sprayed some of this sh*t on and it went caustic like
Easy Off ! I tried Mothers, Blue Magic and Semi Chrome
with very lil luck and a LOT of hand polishing. Terrible
results.

So I'm thinking a 100 bucks for the wheel re polish. I
stop at the local chromers and he says I screwed, but
he did have some luck using this stuff. So he said let's
see. He placed a bit on a paper towel and rubbed for
maybe a minute, turned the towel over and rubbed
the stuff off and damn if it didn't pull this caustic
crap off one of the spokes and made it shine like
it hasn't in many years.

I was flat floored. I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
He wouldn't sell me a bottle, but gave me the skinny
on who makes it, etc. I found some not that many miles
from me and tomorrow I'm rolling down to get some.
I'll post a pic of the wheel half way done. One side with
the caustic crap Eagle made and I messed up on and
the other with a swipe and wipe of the Wicked and
you tell me what you think..

Here's the product.

I was a Blue Magic guy for a long time, but after seeing
this stuff work, it's all about Wicked's metal polish now.

It won't be some half assed pic. I'll try to do it as fairly
as I can.

Re: Wicked Products Metal Polish.

I have been using Wicked for years. It is by far the best metal polish I have ever used and use it on the TTII's on my nova all the time. You can find the polish at most truck stops or trucker stores.

Re: Wicked Products Metal Polish.

^ It's true. I realize it does sound a lot like I'm a part of the
company, but that's not the case. I did blow it by incorrectly
using the Eagle wheel cleaner and was really concerned
I was going to have to fork out dough for a major repolish
until the guys over at Hoak Plating in San Berdoo
showed me how well this stuff worked.

As stated above, I'm just stoked that I don't have to
lay out a fortune to repair a really stupid thing I did.

I just bought some from Wicked for 21.50. Wicked
is located about an hr or so from where I work.

Like mentioned, don't take my word for it. Wait until
I post a pic or so and you make the call.

I don't try to lay anybodies business on the anybody
else for free, unless it's the NRA. I just love to do it
for the org.

It just SOOOO pisses off Liberals . Makes my day.

Re: Wicked Products Metal Polish.

Took a bit longer to get the pics on here as I believe one
of the kids I haul around have given me the flu. Wonderful.
Anyway here are the pics I promised I would post. Check
valve stem and lock lug position on both as well as other
details so you are assured I didn't move to another wheel
and try the typical bullshit other's might try when pushing
a product, etc.

As you can see from the first pic, I totally jacked up the
wheel using Eagle wheel cleaner and again I pulled the
moronic move of not letting the wheel COMPLETELY cool
down, so I don't know if this would of happened, but as
you can see it did.

Finally here is a quasi half way "polish" [like maybe 4/5
minutes ?] on the front half of the wheel. I didn't do much
rubbing or polishing as I feel like crap, but hopefully you
can see what Wicked's product did to help pull the caustic
off and try to pull a shine out.

I realize there are still remnants of the caustic left on the
"polished" side, but I didn't put much effort into. I'm
thinking using my old Flitz polish ball and investing
some effort and time into each wheel would pay off
a LOT more.

In any event, I have found the product that I'll continue
to use till I die and the way I feel right now that could be
at the end of this post.

Wicked also sells a deal called Alumag Chrome or some-
thing like that which the lady at the business told me
was a more abrasive polish and if I have probs with this
metal polish which I don't see happening, I'll try it
instead.

Granted their products aren't cheap, but decent stuff that
works seldom is.
