wheel cleaning

what do u recommend i use to polish my old centerline wheels...they are aluminum...i used some mothers alum. wheel polish. but it left micro scratches....would the billet polish work better...or is it only for billet....i want them to look like this....

I think you can use the Billet poilsh on non-billet aluminum wheels. Best thing to do would be to try it out on a small inconspicuous spot on back, just to make sure it won't harm the wheel.

Check out these vids on how I polish. It may take a couple polishes but you should be able to get the scratches out.

I like the Mothers Billet Polish.
I need to try the powerball one day..., just need the time

A lot of the marring comes from removing the polishes, you want to use a god quality towel for final polishing/buffing.

yup, that's a nice video. Those rims are in pretty good shape to begin with so it won't be that easy but that's the right idea.

If you clean them and polish them really good then its easy and quicker to take care of your wheels than if you abuse them a lot and not take care of them for a while.
