go to a hobby store and get the smallest brushes you can find
and just go for it i guess if you go too thick you could always wet sand it down and buff the scratches out but ive never had to do that or....you could use an airbrush if you have one....but be careful not to get overspray on the truck ![]() |

the best way is to use as little as possible at a time and build up layers till your a little higher than the surrounding area. Then after it dries use 2000 grit sandpaper(mcquires 2000) this is superfine stuff that they use in body shops. Carefully feather the edges and finish with good polish and wax that should due ya.

I've always used a torn off match for touch-ups. Use the paper end, it works great. They're also free!

So use the red end of a match?
And you do that after you've painted the spots?? |

He is talking about the free little booklets of matches that you get with from a company that has their advertisement on it. You just tear each match out. They are a type of fibery material, not too hard but not too soft.

Re: Whats the best way to use touch up paint.
Sometimes the brush isn't adequite for small jobs. Anyway I guess people always have to second guess, when you're just trying to help out. Just use the fiber (torn off end) as a brush. This works great in a pinch or always.
For those that still need to reply w/ a dumbass comment> Go sit in the corner and lick your nuts! |
