Re: whats a good tire shine
If you wipe off the excess you get a real clean tire look, not too glossy, but real clean.

Re: whats a good tire shine
P&S Wipe N shine is the shit! You can only find it at detail shops that carry P&S Products or directly from P&S's website. It leaves an incredibly wet and even look with just one application
![]() ![]() It runs like $24/gal, but a gallon will go a REALLY long ways. I've done probably 25+ cars and I've got about 1/4 a gallon left ![]() |

Re: whats a good tire shine
I am using something called HOT N Shine from autozome in a windex spray bottle it only $4 and my tires look sweet! i have Radial GT Turbo Action. I have sprayed it with water to test it out threw mud at the tires and everything its like a freaking coat of wax over the tire and the tires look freaking awesome i am riding down the road and all the teen where i live dont ever compare to my tires on my truck!
They have beat up fords and blazers that have systems and hydrolics they coppy each other i have not yet seen 1 original idea of modding there trucks but copying there friends. It is stupid theres 6 ford rangers beat up with systems and hydros. |

Re: whats a good tire shine
it's meguiers hot shine, thats what i like. Plus if you use the mr.clean magic eraser, and towel dry the tire it looks f ing wet, and just let it sit or 20 min and there's little to no sling.

Re: whats a good tire shine
If you want the tire black, I'd suggest that No Touch stuff. My tires were nasty with some
yellow crap all over em. I tried Westly's bleach, but it messed up the finish on the wheels. Then a member here mentioned No Touch and I've been using it ever since. I apply it and then wipe off the excess and let dry for a few hrs to overnight and it's been working pretty darn good. Cheap too. |

Re: whats a good tire shine
I've been using the Meguiar's Insane Shine stuff.... goes on like spray paint.... uber wet, but doesn't spin off like a lot of the others do... I used to use the black magic stuff, which shined well, but spun off heavily.... the Insane Shine is a better looking, wet shine IMO

Re: whats a good tire shine
lets see, what have i used
- dupont teflon tire shine: real good, sattin finish, not greasy at all. would really, really reccomend it. just wipe the excess off and no slinging either. - meguiars NXT insane shine: aresol can, REAL shiny, but REAL greasy didnt really like it. - meguiars hot shine (with the adjustable nozzle): like the insane shine, but not quite as shiny. if you let it dry for about 15 minutes it wont sling off. ive used this one alot too. dont like it as much as the teflon though. - no tuch wet look tire shine: THIS STUFF ROCKS. let it dry for 20 minutes, go out and spray again, wipe excess off the wheels and try not getting it on the paint. smears real bad. this stuff covers real well and doesnt sling if you let it dry long enough. i would reccoment the dupont stuff or the no tuch. i do like the teflon because its not greasy at all, and unlike the aresol crap its not sticky at all, literally went mudding with my tires shined with this crap and the only thing not covered in mud was the tires. |

I use some Tire Shine from Family Dollar. Cost 2 bucks! Works very well, but when it rains it gets dirty again. Worth the dough though.

Re: whats a good tire shine
Happy Holidays!
Try using BLACK MAGIC tire foam. You can apply this foam w/the tires either wet or dry, and seems to las a fairly long time. I use it with a sponge: spray the foam on the sidewall, then wipe with the sponge to get the entire sidewall area. Happy Holidays! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Re: whats a good tire shine
I use this stuff called "Forever black - Tire Gel" it's really good.
You maybe apply it once every few months.. ANd you can apply it to your tread, or even on motorcycle tires.. It gives it a BLACK look... Not so much a shine.. Which is what I wanted.. It doesn't sling off.. It dries completly in 15 minutes after you apply it.. Really good product IMO Oh yeah, and dirt doesn't stick to the tire.. Like I can drive through a dirt road.. ANd you can see dirt on the tread where I didn't apply the gel, but the sidewalls will be perfectly black still.. |

Re: whats a good tire shine
I use this:
![]() The only tire shine with Teflon surface protectors for a long-lasting - clear - ''wet look'' shine. It bonds to tires and won't leave a greasy mess. The non-stick Teflon coating leaves an invisible protective barrier to help repel new dirt - road grime and brake dust build-up for a long-lasting - clear - ''wet look'' shine. Features: Leaves a clear - ''wet look'' shine that's completely dry to the touch Coating will not ''sling'' off tires while driving - leaves no greasy mess on your car Spray on - walk away - no wiping required Non-petroleum-based formula helps tires resist browning - drying and cracking |

Re: whats a good tire shine
I use armour all. IT doesnt give much shine but it doesnt sling off and gives the tire a good black clean look which is what i like for white lettered tires. I cant give advice on the wet shine products cause ive never used them. But if i did i would either go with a turtle wax wet shine or armour all wet shine

Re: whats a good tire shine
What's really nice about it is that it dries to touch after a few minutes, retains the shine and doesn't collect as much dust and dirt as the wet counterparts.
ALso, it doesn't sling off on the paint after it's dry. |
