eagle one.. they also have a product that you spray on and it acts like a guard from water and dirt and wont stick to the rims, i watched the infomercial one morning and they poured honey on the rim and it just beaded right off.

Go to Wal-Mart and get some of the Turtle Wax Chrome polish, real easy on and off. works very well.

I just use soapy water then rinse and dry. i might try what you guys suggest if it makes them shine more then they already are.

Re: what do you use to make your chrome rimes shine??

I clean them with a wheel cleaner, then my regular car wash soap ( Meguiar's Gold Class ) I then blown them dry with my vacuum attachment. Once they are dry, I hit them with some Meguiar's Synthetic Sealant 2.0

Makes them shine like crazy and they come clean very easy for a long time!

Re: what do you use to make your chrome rimes shine??

Windex is actually one of the best products to use. I never thought of it but my brother works at a custom bike shop and they use windex on all their chrome. Tried it on my rims and it works really good. I'm sure all the other products mentioned above work really well, but windex is just easier to use in my opinion.

Window cleaner, steel wool, or mothers chrome wheel cleaner. I usually just wash them with regular car soap though, dry them off, then use window cleaner to get them to shine.

Re: what do you use to make your chrome rimes shine??

If the wheels are chrome, then all you need is soap, and water, and then you can wax them if you want, with either a rim wax, or just some normal carnauba wax. Or, you could just windex them. They also sell acids, but if your wheels have a clear coat, it tends to eat it up as time goes by... but it's not something that happens right away... it's more like a long term effect. You could also use a degreaser, but it's the same deal as the wheel acid... just a little less harmful/powerful.

When I use to work at a dealership a long time ago, we used this stuff for EVREYTHING!...

Re: what do you use to make your chrome rimes shine??

I've all ways used the trouble free glass cleaner which is pretty much Windex followed by turtle wax chrome polish!
