Re: what do you use?
for chrome rims, look online for Meguiars wheel brightener. Good stuff!
if you want to find something store bought, try Meguiars Multi Piece rim cleaner. For washing, I used to use Megs Car Wash, NXT or Gold Class. |

Re: what do you use?
Mothers has a really good lineup of waxes and chrome cleaners..BUT for my rims I use NEVER DULL, it comes in a little round silver can its about 4 or 5 bucks at advance autoparts..I use the never dull to get rid of all the rain spots and grime and rust and then I go over it with Mothers Chrome Cleaner.

Re: what do you use?
if the spots are etched in the glass, the vinegar/water mix won't work

Re: what do you use?
I use super slick n suds auto shampoo. One of the best I've used w/ great lubricity!
They also make a strong wheel cleaner, spray n rinse. If you need something less harsh, go w/ p21s wheel cleaner. |

Re: what do you use?
From what I hear dish soap messes up the clear or something.. Anyways when I do it at my house I use it anyways ![]() Either that or I go to a self service car wash, I love those things, especially the ones near a highway. AIRDRY FTW! ![]() |

Re: what do you use?
hmmm....
Well lately I'v been trying to find other waxes that I like. Seems to me the best stuff that I liked so far is Nu-Finish. Others I have tried: -Mother Gold carabuna wax -Black Magic -hmmm.... I forgot what kind it was I still want to try the turtle wax ICE. But it being a polish does that mean anything? Do I put it on top of the wax after? I dunno? |
