Re: What are the best products for....
Get microfiber towels, they will reduce swirling and if you already have swirls, Clay bar them.

Re: What are the best products for....
The key word is "reduce", you cannot avoid swirls. Also, a good coat of wax will HELP you from CREATING more swirls. And using a clay bar will do nothing for swirls.

Re: What are the best products for....
My truck doesnt have swirls or any scratches right now(knock on wood!) so I dont want them...and clay bars will only remove the crap that is on the paint, not swirls. I think on the box it says they do but they really dont.

2. car wash soap?? Rain X w/Carnuba Beads/Mothers Car Wash/Meguiars Car Wash 3. tire shine (that WONT fling everywhere)?? No Touch - Wet and Protect 4. Towels to remove wax? diaper cloth, blue shop towels in a box, cheesecloth 5. Wash mits? car wash sponges I have swirls from time to time, but take care of them with 3 steps...Use 3M Scratch and Swirl Remover for Dark Colors (I have an Indigo Blue truck), then 3M Liquid Wax, then 3M Imperial Hand Glaze...takes a long time, but works well for me |

Re: What are the best products for....
Well, I have been told by my neighbors that "I am going to wash the paint off of my truck I wash it so much." My secret....Dont let it get that dirty! And if their is alot of dirt, road grime...spend the $1.50 and go to the car wash first and then come home and re-wash it by hand. Try to keep sponge clean! I throw it away if I drop it, kinda like clay bars. And when you scrub your truck, clean it like airplane windows, go with the direction of the wind. |
