muratic acid will eat through concrete!!!!! trust me i work with concrete everyday. as far as using it on the chrome rims i would say NO!!!! it causes metal to flash rust within minutes so if you have any scratches in the chrome it could be bad. your best bet is a high pressure wand with a pin point tip

Re: wet cement on my chrome wheels! help!!!

Theres an "all natural" citrus based concrete remover. We used it for about a year at work, but it was too expensive. I think we got it at United Rentals. Best bet would be go to a ready mix plant and see what they are using to wash trucks. If its muratic or phospherous (sp) dont use it on chrome. Or search online.

Re: wet cement on my chrome wheels! help!!!

try searching for goof off or something like that the citrus based acid is hella pricey!!!! try a pressure washer with a high powered nozzle that should take most of it off but the longer its on the harder it gets

Re: wet cement on my chrome wheels! help!!!

Phosphoric acid will get it off its kinda hard to come by though
coke cola has lots of phosphoric acid in it if your really desperate
and it wont hurt your chrome at all

CLick the link...
http://www.topoftheline.com/cement-c...over-auto.html

Give this a try! The sooner the better...

Ive never used this product, but I have been detailing for 8 years now, and use muratic acid on wheels DAILY.....there is nothing that I have came across that will remove the concrete....the acid will clean it so it looks white, but I have never been able to completely remove concrete without blasting it with the pressure sprayer......be carefule not to spray close to any chips or dings, the sprayer will blow the chrome off too if not careful.....

BTW...this is on my shopping list!!!
