Re: Waxing the red truck

I use that Nanowax from eagle one,... I love the stuff and it is a nice hard carnauba wax. I keep mine waxed every other week, but you should be ok to go a month or so between waxes (if you want a slick finish 24/7. keep in mind though it isnt a cleaner wax or polish,... if you are looking for something to just protect your paint from the sun,.. this is good stuff. I have also heard raves about zymol.

Edit: original paint,... has not been wetsanded, has not been buffed,... only waxed.

I've suggested this stuff before. It works wonders. It takes longer than a regular one step wax, but it is well worth it.

As for Turtle Wax... I really don't like it. I've used a few different kinds before, but nothing compares to the Meguiar's 3 step ^^^

Re: Waxing the red truck

Any quality sealant topped by a quality carnauba will give that baby an incredible shine. For local products, I'd pick up some Meguiars #20 or 21 and some #26
