Re: waxing question

do it on a cloudy day after you wash and dry real good.. its best not to have the paint real hot while waxing but if you must, it wont kill anything

Re: waxing question

I would avoid it. Back in the day when I didnt have a garage, I went to the bank down the street on the weekend so I could wax my car under the drive through Ya ever seen those cars that look like they still have the wax on them. They do........they did it in the sun & it burnt on. You can probably get away with it if your metal isnt to hot & its cloudy but I would avoid it anyway. There is a reason why they say that on the bottle, but hey its your truck.

Re: waxing question

The sun will dry the wax onto the paint before you can 'buff' it off. Thats the problem.

Re: waxing question

i know there are trees in Rochester. Find one, park in shade and wax! How many other options do u have? Don't do it in the sun, no matter what anybody says on here. Waxing in the sun is like eating colored snow, it aint good for ya.
