Re: waxing?

It depends how much of a fanatic you are! I can't even count the number of coats of Zaino I've got on my truck. It even sits in the garage most of the time undriven! It's an addiction.

BTW, I learned a new technique that works great. I normally apply a minimum of 2 coats of Z2 at a time. Now I top the Z2 with a couple coats of pure caranuba for extra "wetness" and shine. My cars never looked better! The caranuba helps to cover any fine scratches in the paint that Zaino magnifies....

Re: waxing?

If you already use Zaino than you are using the best stuff. I use Meguires pure caranuba to top coat the Zaino. It's only like $6 per bottle. Make sure you use a Caranuba WITHOUT and cleaners because they will take off the Zaino.

Re: waxing?

Most of the car-care sections of magazines say that Eagle One Wet polish is the best. I can attest that it is some real good stuff. However, I like the Turtle Wax with the particular color for the vehicle. I like it mostly because it doesn't leave the white residue that shows up so well on a black vehicle. Also, it leaves black residue in the scratches instead of the white, which only accentuates the scratch. It also provides an excellent shine and beads water for quite a while.

I get my Zaino from Zainostore.com or if there's a local distributor in your area. The Meguires caranuba that I use for a top coat you can get just about anywhere. It's in a maroon bottle and sells for around $6.

Re: waxing?

Eagle One Wet and Turtle Wax at Advance. The Turtle Wax colors at Advance are limited to black, red and blue, but there may be some others that you can get online.
