$110 just to clean under the hood? If so, your crazy for considering it. If its for everything, your crazy too. As most car lot/dealership detailers are hack.

You can clean under the hood for less then $10 and have it look better then the dealership. As far as waiting till winters over, if you have a heated shop I'd say go for it as you can clean/detail the engine good. If not, just wait till spring as who's going to see the motor in the winter? Or are you trying to sell it right now?

id do it myself, but if the guy is a professional detailer, 110 isnt bad.... most places start at 150. as of doing it now, its a waste imo, because in the winter, itll look like crap in under a week..... that is if they salt as much by you as they do by me

ya, i made that thread.

110 is cheap.

i would charge 75 to detail inside....
65 to wax it....
and 25 for the motor.

thats 165 and does not include buffing the outside, thats a hand wax. if it needs a buffer its 150 for the outside (minus the 65 wax price though)

$110 isn't a bad price, but I'd wait 'til we're closer to show season.

x2. Might as well wait a bit till the rain and crappy weather goes away. But ya $110 for a detail like that isn't bad at all
