videos for detailing. how hard is to transfer?

well it seems like alot of people have tons of questions on detailing, i was thinking of making a video of the exterior steps and the use of buffers etc. i dont know much about computers, or how hard it is to do. but also want ideas from you guys. would anyone like for this to be done etc? i dont know how to edit or anything, but the video would be a extenisve from step to step from the clay bar, to the wax with the use of a rotary buffer, da buffer, etc . since i dont know how to edit or what to do, the video would be insanley long a few hours

I would defenitly benefit from all your tips.
Excellent How-To about washing, waxing...

It may be easier for you to do step by steps in the forum. This way you do not have to worry about editing video.

If you have pics and post them as you go along, it will help out a lot.

I would help if you wanted.

Questions I have or products recommended:
1. After vehicle is washed, polished, and waxed, what can I do to keep the dust off my "black" S10. Is there some kind of Anti-static to apply?

2. Rims, wheels.... What to use for different kinds? Aluminum and others.

3. Should you polish everytime you wax? How often should you wax. How often should you polish.

(One last thought...)
If you did not want to make a video, how about a recorded audio cd? The file size will be extremely smaller and editing is a breeze.

before you do anything after washing, clay bar the car, or use cleaner. i reccomend investing in a da buffer with a clay bar attachment. this will make the surface smoooth and make the polish and wax glide on and off, also debris as well. i always use meguairs final inspection almost everyday. this mist on/off techinque keeps the vehicle looking like it was just cleaned. i do it every morning cause i own a detail business so i cant be riding around in the nice weather advertising with a dirty vehicle. I spoke to a few experts and did differnt experients myself, and the conclusion is that you should polish about every 3 weeks or so. waxing depending on which one,may remove the polish the next time you go wash your vehicle. **** you can use a poly sealent and you wont have to wax anywhere from 6month to a year. remember once you polish it is the best to wax. Cause your adding the oil into the paint to make a shine, and therfore the paint though is not protected. so if you would really like, do a polish/wax everymonth. many people say waxing to much etc will ruin your paint, that is a myth in a way. the coat of a car can only hold about 3 layers. if u ever used a mill paint thicknes gauge you would come to the conclusions i have.

Wheels. I always trust meguairs products. they have many application for numerous wheels, or just a specific kind of wheel. also mothers billet is very good. remember also to protect wax your wheels as wheel.
