Re: tonneau cover leaving marks
i would try a goo remover first to get the rubber off...but once that is gone you may still see small scrathes in the clear...then you may need to wet sand and buff...or just a good wax...

Re: tonneau cover leaving marks
well i know why...the bed is mounted solid to the frame...so every bump you hit the bed moves with that...now since the bed cover is not mounted 100% firm to the bed its gonna move and make markes in the clear...

Re: tonneau cover leaving marks
take off the bed cover and get a flush one...my flush one never left marks... or maybe some clear tape where the cover sits on it...

Re: tonneau cover leaving marks
My gaylod lid sucked for rubbing that part of the bed. I would probably never get another lid that style with a bagged truck or even a daily for that matter

Re: tonneau cover leaving marks
lol mine does the same, but it rubbed off down to the bare metal, cuz the hackjob that put it on (the previous owner) didn't put the weather stripping on it, so,,, i have no freakin paint on the tops of the bed sides...
