Tar/Goo on Tailgate!
Tar/Goo on Tailgate! It's kinda like tar, but I don't think it is?
It's black & sticky & gets worse in the heat. How do I remove it? Gas, engine cleaner, mmo, goo remover works only a little. |

I believe that what you are describing is the goo from the inner tailgate hinge... it oozes out over time...

If you can get a hold of some stuff called "GON" it works pretty good, kinda like prep sol.

70% Isopropyl Alcohol !!! *Remember to use a wet paper towel afterwards! |
