Re: takin sticker off of a lexan?

Hey man i just tollk some off oh my old lexan window to sell it. In NJ they should have it. Go to like a Excerds/CVS/Walgreens. Where they have there tiny car supply stuff. Scotch makes a adhesive remover pin. The pen has a red cover on it and it has a black cap. It's a cirus based formula. It works awsome and it's like 5 buxs.

Re: takin sticker off of a lexan?

I wouldn't be trying any nail polish remover or any harsh chemicals that might melt or smear the lexan. I'd stick to Goo-Gone. Spray the stuff on, let it sit a bit and then wet it down good and start rubbing in from an edge with a cotton towel. It will take some work but it will be the safe way to go!

Re: takin sticker off of a lexan?

im guessing no one works at a auto detailing shop . We either use a razer blade and easily clean it off just dont push hard and u'll be fine. On painted surfaces u can use kerosine and wash it after ur done. Or laquar thinner works. But remember after u get it off wash with soapy water. kerosine and laquar will pull the glew off ass soon as u start wiping
