Street Glow Neon License Plate Frame

I was digging through my closet to day and I found one of these things... ahh the days when I was young.

Anyways, I was going to use it again (pc case mod). I've managed to clean the outside pretty good with some Meguiars Plasitx... but sadily, all the major dirt has built up on the inside.

So is there a way to clean this out without opening it? And if I do, how should I get it apart. I know the oven is the best way for taking apart the headlights, but I don't know if it'll melt the wires at all, or even the actual plastic.

Any suggestions?

if its just going in the PC then break the plastic prtector right off

the only reason that its there is to protect the neon from weather and breaking
