Sticker Residue

I see lot for getting it off paint but i didn't see any for getting it off glass without damaging the glass. So...

I removed that huge ass sticker on my rear window but, I don't know the best way to get the rest of the residue off without damaging the tempered glass. I took it off because it was blocking my vision. Any help other than "run a search" would be appreciated.

Is it on the outside? If so, take some rubbing alcahol on rag and rub over it (soak it down real good), then before it drys up take a lighter a nd light it (don't worry the alcohol burns quick it only burn for about 2 or 3 seconds, if not just bolw it out) and then scrub it with the rag and it should come right off. If you don't want to set it on fire the alcohol will take it off, you just have to scrub harder.

Re: Sticker Residue

WD-40 always works for me to take off sticker residue. Then you just use some Windex to get the WD-40 off.

Its the best stuff for sticky left over residue. I used it for the residue left behind my badges.

Goo Gone. They sell it at Walmart. Works like a charm.

Yeah same here. I used it on my badges, side molding, and vinyl stickers. Works great every time and Windex takes off the film it leaves behind with no problems. Everybody has a can of WD-40 so there is never a need to run to the store for it.

Re: Sticker Residue

Carefull with Goo Gone or Goof Off, use as little as possible and wash it off with soap quickly as it does dull the paint underneath, that's why I prefer a cleaner/polish like Meg's ScratchX or a milder lubricant like WD40.
