Spilled soda in dash vent

Long story short: my clumbsy roommate spilled almost a whole can of Pepsi on my dash and most of it drained down the vent. Should I do anything? Is there anything I can do?

Re: Spilled soda in dash vent

Take the dash apart and clean the vent?

I don't think there'd be any good way to do it without disassembly.

And tell your roommate to use the cupholder, moron.

::edit:: Your roommate's the moron.

I'd say take it apart and clean it, That's what i'd do at least. it could possible damage something down inside such as wires or other electronics.

Which vent? The two in the middle would be easiest to clean. But if it was the one on the far passenger side, then you pretty much gotta take it all apart to clean.

Re: Spilled soda in dash vent

Marduk, I know where you're coming from. My dad always finds a way to muck up my truck whenever he borrows it, and he definitely spilled half a can of coke down one of my dash vents a couple years ago. I never bothered to clean anything other than what spilled on top of the dash. So far, no problems. I haven't had any killer mold growing out of the vents or anything...yet.
