Thumbs up Sounds crazy, but it worked!!

So I'm cleaning and waxing the Blaze the other day(while the weather permits) and I stand back and look at my work.

Now...wait a minute.....Those mirrors look like total S**T!!!

I have the Stock mirrors(for now) and they've gotten dull and oxidized and are just plain FUGLY!!!

What to do, what to do!? What in the world could I use to clean plastic? It was getting late and I didn't feel like running to the local Parts store, so I started looking around the house. Windex? NO, Lysol, HELL NO!
Well, then I remembered an old trick I know of among us Classic owners is that you can use toothpaste to clean chrome, if you're out of Mothers. Just don't get it on your paint.

So I said: "I wonder if it'll work for Plastic too"?? Got a red rag and put some on, about the size of a dime, just to test a small area.

Holy S**T!! Shiny and Clean!!!

So I went back in and grabed the bottle and brought it out.
Works like a champ. I also got a terry towel wet and after I scrubbed the toothpaste into the mirrior, I let it sit for a couple of minutes and then went back and cleaned it with the wet terry and the dried it with another terry.
Clean and Shiny.

Disclamier: Of course, your situlation might be different, read the label, void where prohibited, check local listings, If it don't work, don't come crying to me.

Talking Hehehe!!

Whew!! I thought for sure I'd get more than this, but I'm happy with what I got I guess.

Sacran: I apologize, I didn't mean to jump on you like that and it wasn't on purpose.
I'll admit, I came off like a total

You were a Gina Pig, sort a speak. I just wanted to see who and how many were awake on here. Since I couldn't seem to do it in a nice way, I did it in "not so nice" way.

I'll also apologize to S10forum as a whole.

Not even a moderator came out for this?? Wow, that's amazing. You guys have some really FAR limits on this board.

Well, that explains it...

Not to be a d1ck... but "libary" is spelled with two r's = library...

And it is pronounced Li - brar - y...
