Soft Tonneau Cover

What's the best way to clean this thing? I know I shouldn't use normal soap because it will pull the oils out and possibly shrink it, but I don't know what to use. If I just spray it down with water the thing dries and I can still see all the dirt on it.

Maybe try Armour All and a clean rag or paper towels?

I didn't realize they made a special cleaner for them, that would be the best bet. Also 02bluezr2, water isn't going to hurt it I promise you. He said in his orginal post he sprays it down with water.

If you meant it contains soap, I still say its safe and won't shrink it so much it will make a difference.

I would go to a carwash and use bleach white and wash with the high pressure when mine got real dirty.I never put any armor-all or anything on it.First time dew or any moisture hits the protectant its gonna be down the bedside.

I have had a tonnuea cover on my truck since 1998 and washed it many times. I have used the standard car wash soap on it and it still fits fine, and it cleans it well.
