the previous owner had those vent shade things on the ext. cab windows, then im guessin they took them off but now you can see like water spots where the adhesive was. my question is what do i use to get it off?

try vinegar/water........or....try to polish it with a paint cleaner wax. If that does not work, try clay, then polish with a semi aggressive polish. If that does not work, take it to a detailer, or better yet, call around to a few and ask them if they can get it off first.

I have a chemical that removes hard water spots from glass, but it contains Hydrofloric Acid, which is very dangerous..... I do not recommend an amateur to use this....
