shine up those stock mirrors!
I tried armor all and all kinds of stuff with no luck until today.
I found if you use rubbing compound on the stock plastic rearview mirrors it shines them so good they look painted. ![]() I used 3M rubbing compound purchased at a autoparts store. put some on a rag and rub it in until it starts to turn into a paste and gets dry as your rubbing. then use a clean rag to rub it back off. step back and admire your shiny new looking mirrors. just get it off soon and dont let it dry completely. It may not come off if it is allowed to dry too long. I didnt want to try that ![]() |

If you keep them waxed, they stay nice. Mine are 3 years old and look better than new. If they are faded, your idea of rubbing compound is the way to do it, then follow up with wax.
