Unhappy Scratches

I have a Friend that scratched his truck up against a few branches off a tree... and some are fairly deep... What's the best way to try and buff these out... Thanks...

Re: Scratches

It all depends on how deep the scratches are and what condition the paint is in. If you catch a lot of your fingernail on it when you rub your finger across it, you might have to wetsand. Or, you can try a rotary buffer (only if you are experienced with it) and a cutting pad with some paint cleaner. Always try the least aggressive step first. There are many ways to go about it, just don't use scratch x or scratch out. these only leave a pigment to fill in the scratch and will wash away and the scratch will reappear.
