s10 decals

on the s10 and chev. decals that come on the truck whats the best thing to use to get them off?
wax, bug and tar remeover?

heat gun and fishing line with a plastic scraper

adhesive remover and a rag also

some simple source of heat and fishing line or something of the sort, i just used heat before and alot of pulling.

i used a heat gun with a plastic scraper to get it off, then goo-gone to get the nasty stuff off and my hands, well worth it

3M make a product that you attache to a drill and it sand it off but does not harm the clear coat..
I have used this on about 30 cars and never had any probelms damaging the paint..

after you get the emblems off...you'll probably want to wash with dawn to get all the wax off, then clay it, wash again, and wax. after that you should be alright.

after you get it off...
softly scrub with Goo Gone
then wash your car
if you can get a mild buffing compound use that
then wax it

if you cant get any compound, then get a cleaner wax

i finally got them off
it took about 30 min for 4
i looks sweet now
now i gotta put on the 4/5 drop
