What kind of rubbing compound, if it's the white stuff it's pretty mild and will be ok but unless they are really dull i would stick to a billet polish.

Re: Rubbing compound, Billet?

Mothers Billet Polish will fully restore a dulled ouit beaten rim.

Just play it safe and use that. I let my rims go all winter without polishing them, I was going snowboarding a few days a week and it was no use polishing them since they'll be going into mountain roads evey few days. They dulled out and turned grey. I used the Mothers stuff on them it fully brought back the finish to perfection.

I use this stuff from brilex solutions on my INTRO billet rims and it works wonders...and they have 3 different levels.
