Road Paint on truck!!

My dad ran over some paint of some sort, like a area where they painted the road and it hadnt dried yet or something. Basically, there is a streak at the front quarter panel, the same look mud gets i guess ya would say. What is the safest way to get it off w/o damaging the original paint on the truck. The original is black, so we would liek to keep it clean. Also... this happens right before he was thinking bout trading it in for a new truck, haha what luck.

The first thing I would try would be overspray clay, available at your local body shop supply shop.
There are 3 different grades, aggressive, moderate and mild.
You will want to polish when finishes

You gotta be a little more careful with black paint. That will work though. In fact, you could probably try the same thing, but use a plastic spackler. Road paint comes off pretty easy. Adding just a little bit of gasoline on the towel might also help, but be sure to wash it all off after you're done.

As far as I know you should be able to contact the township.
That is almost an instant dry paint (10 min if that)
Not 100 percent but worth a shot. It was on the news around here about that same shit happening to people.
