Restoring Sun Faded Black Area
I have heard that there is some kind of polish or compound that you can rub on black areas of the truck that are faded, and it will bring them back to shine. Is there such a thing? I have heard the name of Back to Black or something like that, but have yet to find anything of the sort at Checker or Pep Boys. Thanks

Ive got some back to black in my garage, DONT!!!! It is basically a glorified armoral and doesnt work on painted surfaces. Faded paint comes from deteriorating clear coat. The only real fix for this is to buff it out. I work as an automotive detailer and am training to be an autobody techinician so I see alot of cars like this.

Yep, back to black sucks, washes off immediately in the rain & usually down your truck or car!

all you need is a good polish
I work at a detail shop here in WA so stuff gets oxidized real fast from the rain. |

use turtle wax..first the colored wax depending on the color of your car..then use the turtle wax clear coat..do this about 3 times with each..an it will come out for about 2 weeks..trust my my whole bumper on my old car used to be faded reallllllll bad an this works really good...
